MOUJ arrived with a voice-and-guitar sketch and no previous recording experience. Imran found the tempo that let his cadence breathe, developed the arrangement, and built the finished production with instrumentalists in Nashville.

Imran rebuilt the song through programmed and performed electronic instrumentation, giving it a rhythmic and tonal identity of its own within the wider world of Years in Reverse.
